WyoComposites, LLC (“WyoComp”) was formed in 2009 by Heath Van Eaton, who is credited as an inventor of agri-fiber/plastic composite building materials using wheat straw to reinforce plastics (recycled and virgin).  The technologies were the first to be commercialized and brought to market and are still in use today.  Mr. Van Eaton’s core research and development efforts date back to 1994, focusing on the use of agricultural related fibers in composites using mainly recycled plastics and bioplastics.  Initial bio-energy research began in mid 1996 with focuses on grains and cellulosic ethanol using agricultural biomasses. WyoComp now provides a broad range of consulting and technology services that focus on sustainability and maximizing value to the industry it serves.

WyoComp is a research and consulting team that is represented by leading scientists, engineers, universities, testing institutions, government and other related associations.  The Company is the industry leader in advanced formulation and process technologies that utilize agri-fibers to reinforce plastics to create superior performing composite building materials among many other technologies and research areas that are important to the environment, society and industry. 

WyoComp is a provider of plastics injection molding services and manufacturing for industry.  The Rail-Lock™ is a polypropylene product made and sold by WyoComp, which is a universal locking system designed for the fencing and decking industry used to lock 2x4 or 1x6 solid rails into hollow post structures. The Rail-Lock™ has a strong pull-out rating, it's fast and easy to install which saves installers time and costs less than other competing systems/methods.

Green build consulting services are available from WyoComp that are supported by a broad range of experience including about 10 years working with the USGBC-LEED. Other institutions and programs include, but are not limited to the USDA-BioPreferrred program, Building Green's GreenSpec Listed program, ICC-ES SAVE program and several others.

WyoComp's consulting and technology services also include an array of economic services for both private and public sectors. Economic feasibility studies, natural resource economics, domestic and global trade modeling, price and price trend modeling, supply/demand modeling, econometrics/regression analysis and other services are available.
